Support Groups

Homeschooling is wonderful in so many ways.

At times, however, it can feel lonely, and uncertainty begins to slip in. How much “school” should we do? Why does this feel so hard? What do I do when my kid doesn’t want to come to the table for math? Can someone PLEASE just tell me what science curriculum to use so I can stop rabbit-holing on it?

I hear from so many folks that they just wish they had people to check in with, to hold themselves accountable for their homeschool goals. So let’s try it!

This spring, I will be piloting a homeschool support and accountability group. I’m not exactly sure how this will play out, it’s going to be a work in progress that we figure out together.

What does this look like?

  • Monthly Zoom call with a small group (6 moms and yours truly)

  • A pre-determined topic for the call — we will develop these topics together

  • Time to check in, sharing wins and challenges.

  • A group Voxer chat
